Illam Thedi Irai Arasu at Maranodai Parish

A dedicated team comprising eleven lay volunteers and Deepagam staff—Mr. A. D. Santo, Mr. Devaraj, Mr. Issac, Mr. Robert, Mr. Mano, Mr. John, Mrs. Reena, Mrs. Clara, Mrs. Jesintha, Mrs. Reeta, and Mrs. Jeyanthi—embarked on a spiritual outreach as part of the Illam Thedi Irai Arasu (ITIA) program. This marked Deepagam’s inaugural visit to the Maranodai Mission Parish. Day 1: October 07, 2025 (Friday): The team visited Thooya Vinnarasi Annai Alayam, Maranodai. Lay collaborators reached out to 12 households in Semananthal village, offering family prayer, counseling, and blessings. Day 2: October 08, 2025 (Saturday): The mission expanded to Periya Maranodai, where 35 homes were visited. In Chinna Maranodai, the team ministered to 23 households. Day 3: October 09, 2025 (Sunday): The ITIA outreach continued in Chinna Maranodai, covering an additional 25 homes. This three-day mission was a heartfelt initiative to bring spiritual support and pastoral care directly into the homes of the faithful. The visit included moments of prayer, personal counselling, and blessings, fostering deeper connections within the community and affirming the presence of the Church in everyday life.
