Prayer Intention
Prayer in the Catholic Church is the raising of one's mind and heart to God or the asking for good things from God. Some prayers are said daily, such as the Morning Offering and the Angelus, others are for special occasions, such as the Magnificat. Prayers can be recited in groups, such as the Rosary and the Litany, while others are personal, such as the Act of Contrition and the Memorare. Prayers are based on Scripture, such as the Scriptural Rosary and the Magnificat, while others are inspired by tradition, such as the Salve Regina and the Prayer to St. Michael. Let us join in the prayerful communion with the Church.

Pray for my sister, Ms. Daranee Teapthong, who is now receiving cancer treatment in the hospital. Doctors informed her family that the illness had progressed from her breast to her lungs and liver. She's supposed to have another two months. May God perform a miracle to eliminate the malignant cells. It's also time for her to have a contrast injection for her MRI. May the findings improve, giving her a complete chance of recovery. Amen.
