Chrithava Vithai Nerkal Award

Fr. Jesudoss P., SDB (Director, Deepagam), has received the Chrithava Vithai Nerkal Award for service in the field of Tamil liturgical music. The function was held on 25th April at 9.00 AM at the Bicentenary Hall, Deepagam. The award conferred to Fr. Jesudoss was Abraham Pandithar Viruthu in the presence of Most Rev. Dr. Neethinathan (Bishop of Chingleput Diocese), Hon. Mano Thangaraj (Minister), Archbishop S.M. Jeyakumar. Chrithava Vithai Nerkal is a Chennai-based bilingual fortnightly, whose publisher and chief editor is V. Thalapathi.
