Catechetical Fest: Celebration of Life - Tirupattur

On December 03, 2023 (Sunday), Sacred Heart College-Tirupattur hosted the Faith Celebration event for Tirupattur Region. The theme of the celebration was “Let’s Celebrate Life”. All Salesian houses, institutions and parishes at Tirupattur Region came together for the celebration. The celebration begun with inaugural ceremony consisting of biblical procession, lighting of the lamp, distribution of Bible, and felicitation of guests. On conclusion of inaugural ceremony, children, youth and adult catechesis were arranged in different locations by Salesian and Jesuit preachers. After the lunch break, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Sacrament of Reconciliation was administered by Salesian fathers. At 4:30 PM, cultural program was put forth that concluded prior to Eucharistic celebration. In all, 1200 people took part in this Faith Celebration. Deepagam Kalaikuzhu were present who represented biblical characters throughout the celebration. Bible and cap memento were distributed freely for the participants.
