Village Advent Recollection - Veeralur

On December 21, 2023, we visited St Antony’s Church at Veeralur Parish for two-day village ministry. We organized catechetical program for two days in St. Antony Shrine at the foothill of Parvadhamalai. People from sub-stations congregated in the evening and we screened devotional hymns; Fr. Director gave his Christmas reflections, which was followed by the Mass. On the next day, many people came from all substations with travel conveyances; we screened Nativity Scenes from Jesus of Nazareth; Fr. Director once again gave his Christmas reflections to prepare people for Confession. Four Salesian Fathers who were present there and the Fr. Director administered the sacrament of reconciliation. Solemn Mass was con-celebrated and fellowship meal was served for all. Thus, we concluded our Christmas Village ministry.
