DEEPAGAM, JANUARY 09, 2025: Fifth Session of PACE (Professional Approach to Christian Education) and PAVE (Professional Approach to Value Education) for the year 2024-2025 has concluded on January 08-09, 2025 with 23 participants at Deepagam celebrating symbolic Pongal during the inaugural prayer service.

This one-day get-together for the participants who meet once in every month on the first week of the month had trendy topics to animate their catechetical and value educational classes. This, being the “Teaching the Teachers” stratagem, school teachers from various Salesian houses enthusiastically took part in the morning sessions that saw inputs on the topics “Content and Method in Catechesis” (PACE Group) and “Content and Method in Value Education” (PAVE Group). Bro. Arun Raj SDB was the keynote speaker of the two-day sessions; he enlightened the teachers to use AI in school-teachings especially for religion and value education classes. Pastor Ravi (Lutheran) demonstrated the use of puppetry show for catechetical purposes; accordingly, religion and value education teachers staged their own puppetry shows that brought them a great sense of teaching mission and consolation in it.
